Jeff Oberman, one of Minnesota’s most experienced non-compete lawyers, continues to teach non-compete law to Minnesota lawyers throughout 2012

Jeff Oberman has been practicing in the non-compete area for most of his career, and teaching continuing legal education in that area for over 15 years.  In 2012 he will present at least four continuing legal education seminars on Minnesota non-compete law.  On May 9, 2012, Jeff will present to business lawyers at the 2012 Business Law Institute on Protecting Your Business from Departing Executives and Key Employees – Including the Latest Cases, Trends, Traps and Strategies Regarding Non-Compete Agreements.  On May 21, 2012, Jeff will present to employment lawyers at the Employment Law Institute on Hiring an Employee with a Non-Compete Agreement – Including the Latest Cases, Trends, Traps and Strategies.  On May 30, 2012 Jeff will present a webcast on Business Protection Agreements, where he will provide an in-depth overview of a reasonably prepared Annotated Confidentiality, Noncompetition and Nonsolicitation Agreement as part of Minnesota CLE’s Documents Made Easy Series.  Finally, in the fall (date to be determined), he will co-present another webcast presentation for the Minnesota CLE entitled Strategies for Non-Compete TROs, Litigation and Negotiation.  Jeff has been representing businesses, executives and other key employees in the Minnesota non-compete world since the early 1980’s.  In addition to enforcing Minnesota non-compete agreements and defending against the enforcement of Minnesota non-compete agreements, he provides mediation and arbitration services to disputing parties.
